Promote the digital transformation of the third sector. This is the objective of the call joint venture that Amazon Web Services (AWS), Fundación Ibercaja and Fundación Hiberus will launch in 2025 so that NGOs and non-profit entities can advance in their digitalization with cloud technology.

A launch of technological innovation projects for which the third sector will have financial aid, since each project will be able receive up to 15,000 euros within this call.

This call, which is now launched between AWS and the two entities, will have annual character to help the third sector enhance digital capabilities and improve its reach and impact on society.

For now, This first call is expected to support at least 20 projects. All of them will have technological support, technical assistance and mentoring opportunities, apart from the financial endowment.

The call was announced at AWS Imagine Aragón, the first meeting within this initiative, which was held in Zaragoza, with the aim of bringing together innovation leaders, technology experts and non-profit organizations to analyze how Cloud technology can drive innovation in areas such as, in this case, the third sector.

From AWS the access to cloud solutions and technologies such as artificial intelligenceso that “NGOs can amplify their impact and transform their missions into tangible realities. We are committed to being a technological ally that helps the third sector face its digital challenges and maximize its contribution to the communities and people they serve” , explained Ignacio Gilart, head of Non-Profit Organizations (NPO) at AWS for Spain.

The Ibercaja Foundation has reiterated its commitment to supporting the third sector to promote its digitalization, innovation and adaptation to new technologies, as has the Hiberus Foundation to equip non-profit organizations in Aragon with digital tools and knowledge.
