Amadeus, Rai's note on the farewell
“It is with regret that Rai takes note of Amadeus' decision to terminate the collaborative relationship with the Public Service”. Thus an official note from Rai announced the farewell of Amdeus who arrives on the Nine. “But – we read – the strong sense of recognition and gratitude remains for the common path, studded with great successes and moments which, like the Sanremo Festival, have entered the history of Rai and the country”.
The note then continues: “In wishing Amadeus good work, the Company remains certain that it has made to Amadeus – precisely because of the esteem and consideration due to its professionalism – all possible proposals in economic and editorial terms with full guarantee of maximum artistic freedom”.
