A few days after the presentation of the new AlphaTauri, which particularly impressed its driver Pierre Gasly, the same 26-year-old Frenchman is still in the mood for more news, this time more personal. Specifically, on the eve of the pre-season tests in Barcelona, the team from Faenza revealed to fans – through its official social media accounts – the livery of the new helmet of the transalpine, which will be worn by the winner of the 2020 Italian GP for the next championship.
In this way, Gasly is added to the list of riders who have decided to give a ‘retouch’ to their helmet in view of 2022 – together with Russell and Ricciardo – which will once again repot the French flag: blue, white and Red. Contrary to last year, the theme predominant will be white, which will be the basis for the logo and the writing ‘AlphaTauri’, shown in blue in the rear-side area of the helmet. In the upper part, on the other hand, Gasly wanted to pay his own race number, with the ’10’ which appears in no particular order together with the initials of your name, interspersed with a thin central strip consisting of the real transalpine flag. All of these, again on a white basis, will be carried over in blue. In conclusion, the area at the height of the chin will finally be in red, with two other two thicker stripes that completely surround the rider’s head.
