Allied forces drove Ukrainian fighters out of their major stronghold southeast of Artyomovsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). This was announced on Saturday, October 8, by Izvestia war correspondent Denis Kulaga.
In the strong point, which is now in a ruined state, there were things of the Ukrainian military. The walls of the building are covered with Nazi inscriptions and symbols.
Earlier, on October 5, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of almost 10 nationalists, as well as a company ammunition depot and two vehicles. A successful operation to eliminate the Ukrainian military was carried out by the crew of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), which included Sergeant Musaib Umarov, who performed combat missions, forcing the enemy to retreat with his tactics.
On September 16, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, said that the Russian Armed Forces had liquidated the headquarters and training base of the separate special operations center “South” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Ochakov area.
The special operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, continues. The decision to hold it was made against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
