The seventh semi-final of the third season of the All-Russian competition “Digital Breakthrough” started on Friday, October 22. The hackathon is dedicated to the digitalization of transport and logistics. This is reported on the official website project.
It is noted that 155 teams will compete for prizes in the competition, as well as for reaching the final of the Digital Breakthrough project. They will have to solve urgent problems from the largest companies and government agencies. The All-Russian competition “Digital Breakthrough” is one of the flagship projects of the platform “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”.
“This year we have already received over 43,000 registrations for the Digital Breakthrough competition, and over 1,000 teams took part in hackathons. Today’s competition has generated a special stir. 5,567 people from 61 regions of Russia have registered for the Transport and Logistics thematic hackathon. <...> The jury of the competition includes representatives of such companies as Norilsk Nickel, SIBUR, GisAvto, Innova Labs, Kuzbass Medical Information and Analytical Center, Russian Post and the laboratory for quantum communications of NUST MISIS “, – said the CEO of the platform “Russia is a Land of Opportunities” Alexey Komissarov.
According to Sergey Grebennikov, Deputy Director of the Russian Association for Electronic Communications, interesting and ambitious tasks await the participants of the hackathon. For example, for the first time in the history of Digital Breakthrough, there will be an opportunity to work with quantum technologies thanks to a case study from the general partner – State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom.
In addition, the project participants will develop a mobile application for building an independent autotravel across Russia, the specialist added.
At the hackathon, contestants are invited to choose one of seven problems. The decision of which is traditionally given 48 hours. The final of the hackathon and presentation of solutions will take place on Sunday, October 24th.
