Publisher Warner Bros. Games stated that all content already planned for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be releaseddespite the game being a huge flop, so far the biggest of the year.
We talk about contents already announced with the official roadmap, therefore not those in development but not yet revealed to the public. We imagine that not publishing them could create more than a few problems for Warner Bros. from a legal point of view, since it could be considered false advertising, so it shouldn’t just be about good will.
A failed project
In any case, subsequent plans have not been revealed, although we do not believe that there will be other content, at least of a large caliber. Considering how several live services ended, such as Marvel’s Avengers, Warner Bros. could also decide to pull the plug.
According to IGN.com, when a rep for the publisher was asked about future plans for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the response was evasive: “We’re not discussing anything yet that hasn’t been announced.”
The statement does not conflict with rumors that the season will be the last. According to what is currently scheduled, the fourth season could begin in January 2025, while the fifth in April 2025.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has never convinced players, also due to some major prejudices (many didn’t want Rocksteady to dedicate itself to a live service). Launched in February 2024, it immediately struggled to find its audience, achieving very disappointing results. The subsequent contents did not serve to revive it. For the rest we remind you that it is available for PC, Xbox Series
