Alfonso Ordonez will not continue as an advisor at the Maestranza: Rafael Torres replaces him

The Government delegate of the Junta de Andalucía in Seville, Ricardo Sánchezhas announced the appointment of Rafael Torres Like new Artistic Advisor of the presidency team of the bullring of the Real Maestranza de Cavalry of Seville, replacing Alfonso Ordonez Araujo that he retires and leaves his post after 30 years in this position.

Alfonso Ordonez is the son of Cayetano Ordonez ‘El Niño de la Palma’ and brother of Antonio Ordóñez. He was a banderillero with great bullfighting figures during the 40 seasons that he was active, always highlighting for his professionalism, his good work and bullfighting. The new artistic advisor will be Rafael Torres, bullfighter who debuted without picadores in August 1967 in Olivares and with itchors in October 1968 in the bullring of the Real Maestranza in Seville.
