At the 2024 Paris Motor Show, various new Alfa Romeo products will be shown: in fact, the spotlight will be on the new hybrid Junior Veloce and also the 2025 Tonale, with some updates that could characterize the Alfa Romeo’s medium SUV. The wait, however, is the whole new generation of Alfa Romeo Stelvio which will arrive in a few months and will revolutionize the high-wheeled model of the Arese brand.
New platform for Alfa Romeo Stelvio
The new Stelvio will also be born in Italy, in Cassino on the new STLA Large platform into which the STLA Brain technology will also be integrated which will include new software and hardware for managing the car. It will be a scalable platform, both from the point of view of power supply (despite being natively electric it will also allow applications with an internal combustion engine) and from that of dimensions and wheelbase. The high level of customization will also allow the driving dynamics to be adapted to the needs of the Arese brand’s models. The battery will have a capacity of 118 kWh with 800 Volt architecture to recover 4.5 kWh per minute with a fast charging infrastructure. From a performance point of view, the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h will be done in 3 seconds.
Top technology
From a technological point of view, the partnership with Amazon will allow you to take advantage of some integrated services as well as a constantly evolving interface thanks to sharing with the cloud. Infotainment will then offer a synergy with artificial intelligence to optimize the use of navigation and other functions. The arrival on the market of the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio will take place by the end of 2025 to arrive on the market that same year or at the latest in the first months of 2026. It cannot be ruled out that alongside the full electric versions, the Biscione brand decides to also launch an ICE variant for a limited period of time: in recent months there has been talk of a range extender but the Quadrifoglio version could also be confirmed, with the 2.9 V6 which could debut on the new generation of Stelvio at a later date.
