The debut of Alfa Romeo Tonale inaugurated a new season for the Arese-based car manufacturer, with the brand looking to the future with renewed optimism. The Alfa Romeo range is destined to expand but alongside the cars that will have to guarantee a decisive return to the market, Alfa Romeo is also preparing some niche models that can whet the interest of enthusiasts. These are projects. one-off and limited edition cars that are being evaluated by the brand of the Stellantis group and whose arrival on the road will be subject to electrification and the achievement of financial targets.
To confirm this line was the same Jean-Philippe LearnedCEO of Alfa Romeo during an interview with the British magazine Autocar: “We have no intention of forgetting Alfa Romeo’s legacy and passion, with its iconic models such as the Duetto and the stunning T33 Stradale. These will serve as inspiration that will serve as inspiration for future sports cars. One day Carlos and I (Tavares, ed.) Will sit around the table and evaluate cars that will allow us to support Alfa Romeo’s storytelling in the future ”. The last real sport of the Biscione was theAlfa Romeo 4Cproduction exit in 2020 and despite the rumors that over the years the Arese car manufacturer wanted to work on other projects such as the return of the GTV, nothing has ever materialized.
To realize the dream of many customers and lovers of the Italian brand, the success and rise of Tonale will therefore be fundamental, which aroused great interest at the official launch. Starting from segment C, the brand led by Jean-Philippe Imparato will also be able to work on the arrival of its third SUV, what should be called Alfa Romeo Brenner and which will also represent Alfa’s first fully electric model. With satisfactory results from both cars, the Arese range could also accommodate those dream cars that have been mentioned several times in recent months.
