Ralf Schumacher against Raikkonen: “Embarrassing incident”
L’eighth place in the Constructors’ standings he remained safe for Alfa Romeo, stuck on the two points snatched by Antonio Giovinazzi in Monaco and by Kimi Raikkonen in Baku, two tenth places which for now are enough to defend a very important place team. The Williams, in fact, is still firm at zero altitude like the Haas.
Xavi Pujolar, in charge of Alfa Romeo’s track operations, believes that the 30 points that separate Alpine from Alfa Romeo are an ungenerous gap in light of the performance of the C41: “We have a car that performs well in the race – Pujolar’s words collected by the English newspaper Racefans.net – Williams, on the other hand, is fast on the straights and is difficult to overtake, plus Russell is always amazing in qualifying. However, we have the speed to battle with teams like Aston Martin, Alpine and AlphaTauri, in terms of performance the difference is minimal ”.
