The truth is that at least in the psychological matter I think that I have matured a lot and I feel more prepared than in previous years. Gradually you are increasing the difficulty and worrying more about the cleaning issues, the elements, of the execution of the routines, and then there is the psychological part, of knowing how to face the competition, without going crazy.
Do you count the days for Tokyo?
I don’t count the days for Tokyo, what I am doing right now is to first focus, get back to the rhythm and see how the elements we are testing come out, it is little by little, they are short-term goals, and then we see what follows. I think the bronze medal in the Doha World Cup, because it was the moment when I was doing things well. I have had several, and the World Cup is the most recent, and from that I began to believe that I can get ahead.
And the worst moment in your career, what was it?
It is that I do not see it as the worst moment, but it was something very difficult and it was when I broke my face before going to the Pan American Games in Toronto 2015, and I no longer went. I had a month of recovery and then another to be ready for the World Cup selection; It was definitely very short time and I decided better to go to the World Cup.
