Pacheco: He suffered a lot before his former team. He could do little in all the goals. His defense failed a lot and they left him sold although he did not make any anthological stops either.
Ximo Navarro: Loose in the first half and overwhelmed like the rest of the team behind. Then he had a breach in his leg when a rival nailed his studs and in the second half he was substituted to preserve him for the next commitments.
The guard: The hand suffered more than normal. Madrid’s forwards are unstoppable and, especially in the first half, made some unforgivable mistakes by taking offside. He made a dangerous header at the exit of a corner.
Lejeune: Error at 0-1 when he did not jump against Casemiro and let him finish without much resistance. Then he did some action of merit, but, in general, he was quite failed like the rest of the defense teammates.
Duarte: The first part was weak on his part, like the rest of his teammates. Then, in the second, he grew up like the other classmates. He tried to go deep down the band and helped in the brightest moments of the albiazul attack.
Pineapple: He lost the midfield battle in the first 45 minutes. When Alavés began to really bother the rival, he was substituted. It is not easy to face Madrid and they suffered like their teammates.
Battaglia: He was also unable to disassemble the white lattice in the first half. Abelardo decided to replace him at halftime with Manu García. He is a good recuperator, but it is difficult for him to create from the spinal cord upwards.
Martin: He started in the center of the field, but then ended up on the wing after Ximo Navarro left the field of play. He spliced a good shot in the first half that narrowly missed. He gave Madrid a good scare with the 0-0.
Rioja: He is one of the fittest footballers on the team. Encara, he has self-confidence and is very vertical, but he received a blow to the shoulder and finished the first half as best he could. At half-time he was replaced by Borja Sáinz.
Joselu: He was facing what was his team. He was trained at the Factory and has good friends there. Intense, dangerous, scorer and referent. He makes a good partnership with Lucas and everyone expects him to deliver good news again.
Edgar: He came out as second striker and, with Lucas’s staging, fell to the center of the field on the right. He received some tough tackles, but he also made one offside and got yellow. The game against Getafe will be lost.
Manu Garcia: Abelardo lectured him at halftime. Nobody better than him to interpret the Centennial match. He came out very intense, he saw a yellow, they forgave him the red one, he made a committed mistake in a pass and always went up to finish with intensity and commitment.
Borja Sainz: It brought freshness from the break. As soon as he left, he starred in a good play on the left wing. He improved the team in the second half, but, in the end, he could not unbalance the balance in favor of the babazorros.
Lucas Pérez: He didn’t feel good about his ankle and at the club it was interpreted as a lack of commitment. Abelardo ruled him out on Tuesday against Sevilla, but took him out in the second half against Madrid and was the best. Great free kick on Joselu’s goal.
Pere Pons: He came out with the game resolved and in a delicate situation. But Alavés performed much better in the second half than in the first. It did its job of containment, although it is not a great distributor either.
Deyverson: Few minutes to close the game. Boisterous as always. When he finished, he hugged Militao and changed his shirt with his compatriot. He also greeted Casemiro effusively.
