Commander of the special forces “Akhmat” Alaudinov: The Ukrainian Armed Forces are unable to break through to the Kursk NPP
The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) clearly understands that the army is unable to break through to the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). The agency RIA Novosti said the commander of the Akhmat special forces, Major General Apti Alaudinov.
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are still making attempts to break through to the nuclear power plant, but they are all failing. He emphasized that the Russian army has already built a serious echeloned defense in the Kursk region.
“They already realize today that no matter how much they want it, they do not have the resources to really push through to the Kursk NPP. They understand perfectly well that they will not be able to fulfill the maximum task that was once set before them – a blitzkrieg,” Alaudinov said.
Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that the footage published by Ukrainian sources showing the Kursk NPP shows that Ukraine has not abandoned its plans to strike the facility. The diplomat emphasized that Kyiv has moved from a “nationalist agenda and nationalist dictatorship” to “direct terrorist activity.”
