Al Dhafra Festival will start receiving camels in the city of Sweihan to install the electronic chip (tacking), tomorrow, at the administrative center of Mazayeh Sweihan, and will continue until October 26.
The staging of camels comes as part of the intensive preparations for the launch of the 15th session of the Al Dhafra Festival, coinciding with the celebration of the “Fifty Year”, from October 28, 2021 to January 22, 2022, as part of the Abu Dhabi auction season. The Al Dhafra Festival aims to preserve the purebred camel breeds and increase the number of camel owners participating in the auction and heritage competitions related to the culture and traditions of the people of the region. The festival embodies the emirate’s efforts to enhance its position as a regional and global platform for heritage.
