Zaher Al-Ariani, the shooter of our national shooting team and the Fazza team, won the bronze of the His Highness the Crown Prince of Kuwait Cup for shooting dishes from the pit, which was held with the participation of 59 shooters of the game’s champions in the world.
Al-Ariani came third after qualifying in the preliminary round with 116 layers, then achieved 34 layers in the finals, to come after the Kuwaiti champion Abdul Rahman Al-Faihan, who won the gold medal, and his runner-up Nasser Al-Maqled, the silver medalist of the championship.
Kuwaiti former world champion Khaled Al-Mudhaf ranked fourth, followed by the star of our national team and Fazza shooting team Yahya Al-Muhairi in fifth place, Kuwaiti Ahmed Al-Daihani ranked sixth, and Al-Dhafra club star Mubarak Al-Mansoori achieved a balance of 91 points.
Al-Ariani expressed his happiness at participating in the tournament and winning the third place and the bronze medal, stressing that he will do his best during the next two years to qualify for the Paris Olympics.
Al-Ariani thanked the Shooting Federation and the Fazza team for facilitating his participation in the tournament, especially Sheikh Juma bin Dalmouk Al Maktoum, head of the Fazza shooting team, and Major General Rashid Khamis bin Aber Al Hamli, president of the federation.
