On the sidelines of signing the memorandum, Al Falasi said that the strategic partnership between the service and the Dubai Digital Authority is of great importance to both sides, and bore fruit in the campaign to combat electronic extortion, which achieved great spread among members of society, and contributed to enhancing public awareness of the dangers of this crime, and ways to detect and prevent it. And resort to the competent authorities to obtain the necessary protection in the event of exposure to it.
He added that electronic security is a priority for the security services, so the Al-Ameen service, in cooperation with the Dubai Digital Authority, pays great attention to it, especially in light of the development of related crimes, and the diversity of its methods, which necessitates organizing awareness campaigns on an ongoing basis to immunize members of society.
He pointed out that the campaign deals with activities that attract the public on the Internet, especially those related to the risks of misuse of social media, and other electronic crimes.
For his part, Amer Sharaf praised the efforts of Al-Amin’s service in strengthening the relationship of society and its members to the State Security Service in Dubai, and monitoring phenomena that negatively affect security and stability.
He explained that the center is the government agency charged with protecting data, information systems and communication networks throughout the Emirate of Dubai from any electronic threats that may arise, and the importance of this role is increasing as the Dubai Digital Authority continues to take great and qualitative steps towards its strategic goals of digitizing every aspect of life. in the emirate.
