Bounida, a Belgian youth international, already announced his departure on Instagram on Sunday. ,,It’s time to fly out’, wrote Bounida, who played for Anderlecht from the age of seven. The club from Brussels regrets not being able to keep him. ,,With his dribbling skills, technical ingenuity and insight, he is seen as one of the most talented players that our academy has produced in its rich history,’ Anderlecht reports.
Rayane Bounida has been known for years as a great talent. The attacking midfielder has become a real phenomenon thanks to his fabulous technique – also on social media. 346,000 followers on Instagram, or fifty percent more than Anderlecht itself. Bounida also got to know big names. He made promotional films for Nike with Eden Hazard and he practiced new tricks with world freestyle champion Séan Garnier.
The Purple & White were eager to see Bounida break through in the Lotto Park and offered the boy a professional contract when he was 15. Despite the efforts of Anderlecht, Bounida did not make his mark.
This is how Bounida announced his departure from Anderlecht:
