Traveling by air is cheaper compared to two years ago (before the pandemic) and can have tickets with prices up to 33% lower. This is what a survey of the Kayak, a travel metasearch engine and that belongs to Booking Holdings.
Among the highlights of falls in the average price of flights in the last two years are Santiago de Chile, with -31%, and Salvador, with -33%.

The survey was carried out based on surveys made by Kayak users between 01/01/2019 and 07/31/2019 in relation to 01/01/2021 and 07/31/2021, for trips in December 2021 and January 2022 .
Data for international destinations are based on departures from São Paulo and national data are based on departures from any terminal in Brazil.
