Airbus will analyze how to add anti-submarine weapons to the Army’s NH90 helicopters for 10 million

The Ministry of Defense has awarded for 10 million euros to Airbus research and development services to study the feasibility of integrating new systems and weapons into the Army and Navy NH90 helicopters.

The movement has occurred in the possible future version for anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare of this type of aircraft, as listed on the State contracting portal and reported by Europa Press.

The contract execution period will begin on November 30 and will be extended over the next 12 months.

Thus, the analysis that Airbus will carry out will have to take into account different cases of use of helicoptersaccording to the technical specifications of the contract.
