The president of this patronage said that one of these programs is the scholarship program that has been established for many years and that has the main purpose of supporting the commitment of the students of the municipality of Ahome.
“It is also supporting the commitment of their families, their parents, it is supporting the talent that fortunately exists and is abundant in our society.”
He added that these scholarships are awarded twice a year to celebrate the commitment of society and the municipal government in the delivery of this resource.
“On behalf of the entire Board of Trustees and authorities and society in general, I want to congratulate you for your commitment, for your school performance, because it is precisely something that is within the commitments of this program.”
Antonio Humberto Vega, treasurer of Ahome, mentioned that this support is possible thanks to the involvement of three very important parties, first, the taxpayers, who are the ones who are obliged to pay the Predial simply by having a property, second, there is the City Council that asks taxpayers for 10 percent of the property tax payment, and finally the Board of Trustees.

“We as a City Council deliver this resource to the Board of Trustees and the Board is the one that makes this event possible, awarding scholarships is a small part of the work they do to collect that amount and administer and manage to deliver it to the beneficiaries. “.
He explained that the City Council is very happy that the patronage makes the best use of this resource, which is part of the taxpayers of the municipality of Ahome.
