The government of São Paulo formalized today (7th) an agreement with the Institute for Sustainable Development (INDES) for the care of women victims of violence and for the development of actions to prevent and fight these crimes through the 18 Integration Centers of Citizenship (CIC) and the 43 units of the Casa da Mulher existing in the state. The partnership lasts for two years.
The agreement provides for the training of professionals in the service network for women victims of domestic violence who work in the CIC and in the Casa da Mulher units. Online courses will also be offered webinars, in addition to specialized online multidisciplinary care for women in situations of violence through the Justiceiras project. There are no plans to transfer resources between participants.
