Thus, from March 6 to 12, the kilogram of LP gas in portable cylinders will cost 23.74 pesos in Mexico City, while the liter, for stationary tanks, will be 12.82 pesos.

With this, this week the 20-kilogram tank will cost up to 474.80 pesos and 712.20 pesos for the 30-kilogram portable cylinder.

While in the Mexico state a similar situation will be seen, since on average the kilogram of LP gas will cost 23.74 pesos, 84 cents more expensive than the previous week, and per liter at 12.12 pesos on average, 25 cents cheaper. Although its ceiling will vary according to the Mexican region in which it is acquired.

Will it keep going up?

After the decrease in prices that LP gas presented in previous weeks, experts assure that prices could continue to increase due to the invasion of Russia to Ukraine.

And since Russia is the main supply of natural gas for Europespecialists estimate that the old continent could turn towards United StatesMexico’s main supplier, to meet its demand, in the event that Russia stops selling the hydrocarbon in retaliation for the Economic sanctions imposed by the military attacks that have been going on for more than a week.
