A spokesman for the Sidi Bouzid court said that the Public Prosecution had ordered the arrest of the governors of the provinces of Sidi Bouzid and Kebli, on suspicion of “financial corruption and public officials’ abuse of official authority.”
The Presidency of the Republic said earlier on Thursday that it had been decided to end the mandate of the governors, without giving any details.
