On Friday, this survey has been revealed in a survey released by the airline company Air Asia, India. According to the survey, 20-29 age group (age group) passengers are traveling more after lockdown.
According to the airline company, a survey was conducted by about 2,400 passengers recently in which the share of passengers in the age group of 20-29 was 25 percent before lockdown which has increased to 42 percent after lockdown.
Older travelers fall
According to the survey, the share of passengers in the age group of 30-39 has come down from 49 percent to 41 percent after lockdown. According to the survey, passengers above 40 years of age were just 10 percent of the total passengers after lockdown. Prior to the lockdown, the share of this age group was 19 percent in total air passengers.
India resumed scheduled domestic flights from May 25 after a two-month gap due to the Corona virus-caused lockdown. 43 percent of respondents in the Air Asia survey traveled before the lockdown. While only 25 percent of the respondents traveled during the July-October period after the lockdown.
According to the survey, 50 percent of the respondents said that they will travel during this festival season and 36 percent said that they can travel during the festive season. The survey also revealed that 43 percent of the respondents want to travel on holiday, 30 percent want to travel to their hometown and 14 percent can travel for business work.
