There are many online making their apologies to Bloober Teamafter the release of reviews of Silent Hill 2 Remake, which speak of an excellent game. Faced with the decidedly high evaluations received, many decided to review their positions and wanted to express a certain regret for having judged it negatively before its time.
Overreacting based on bias
For example this long post on NeoGaf forum it’s all dedicated to complimenting the development team and apologizing for certain immoderate reactions to the first material shown.
“I hope the Bloober team people read this” began the author of the post, CityHunter1981, and then explained: “I and many other people must apologize to him…” Ours justifies the blind attacks against the developers by stating who feared the game would be terrible, according to the first videos shown. Dozens of other users joined him, expressing similar sentiments.
Something similar it is also happened on the ResetEra forumwhere, however, it was remembered that many have done things absurd controversies over the appearance of the characters, resulting in real demonstrations of hatred: “Some developers or games have a real stigma attached to them. Whether it’s justified or not, people use it to indulge in malice, condemn future projects, and spread hate. Even people who haven’t touched their games feel right to spread hatred and distrust.”
They are the good old prejudices, the ones for which you speak badly of someone even if you don’t know them or what they have doneonly to merge with the masses, and for which people, even populations, are condemned based on hearsay and to vent frustrations that have nothing to do with them. Nothing that human beings haven’t always done, in short.
However, all’s well that ends well. If you want to get an idea of the game you can read our wonderful review.
