However, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), the weather forecast announces the arrival of a rainy front throughout the day that will initially affect the northwestern and northern quadrants of Extremadura, without ruling out that it will eventually affect other areas. on the Cantabrian slope and on both plateaus, as well as some afternoon showers in the Pyrenees.
As for temperatures, the maximum temperatures will tend to increase in the Ebro, the east of the peninsula, the Cantabrian Sea and the Canary Islands; and get off in Galicia and the province of Huelva. The minimums will decrease in the southern half and in the eastern third of the peninsula, as well as in the Balearic Islands, and will increase in the rest of the Iberian Peninsula.
The wind will be from the south in Galicia and the Cantabrian Sea, although it will roll to the west and intensify, with probable strong intervals and very strong gusts on the northern coasts and mountains.
On the Mediterranean side it will blow with an eastern component with strong easterly intervals in the Strait and with a southern component in the rest, while in the Canary Islands the moderate trade wind will continue with some strong gusts in channels and exposed areas.
