The month of July brings great news to Adobe, today it is version officially released 15.4. After months of beta, the Californian software house Adobe is finally ready to flex its muscles in this new release full of juicy news.
First of all, it introduces native support for the Apple M1 chip, taking advantage of the chip’s neural engine and its exclusive architecture will allow the software to process specific functions such as Automatic reframe is Scene change detection in a significantly smoother and faster way, Adobe also takes advantage of the chip’s lower computing power requirements to ensure longer battery life.
Another novelty is the function Speech in text, it allows you to automatically generate a transcript of the content and add subtitles, and more Automatic subtitles which transforms the transcripts into subtitle elements on the timeline. Another new feature is the Editing tools transcripts, useful for searching transcripts for specific words and creating a text file directly.
The news does not end there because they have been added thanks to technology Adobe Sensei new tools for titling and subtitle styles, such as more shadows to text layers, text background improvements is color improvements, the latter in fact will make the videos more precise and detailed in terms of color.
Last but not least, numerous innovations have been introduced such as: progressive loading of projects, faster saves is reconnecting files multimedia.
Also as mentioned above, Adobe thanks to Sensei technology was able to speed up up to 2 times detection of scene changes on macOS and Windows, e up to 3 times the speed on devices equipped with Apple M1, also a sign of the greater potential and calculation capacity of the latter.
