Ciudad Juarez.- This morning, the Directorate of Trade Regulation attended to merchants from the San Pancho and Refugio de la Libertad markets, in the southeast of the city, to find out their concerns.
The head of the municipal department, Arturo Urquidi, accompanied by the director of inspection Óscar Guevara, met with leaders of both markets and tenants, to whom they gave their support to carry out informal commercial activity.
For months, street vendors who set up shop in the space located on Refugio de la Libertad Street in the Fray García de San Francisco neighborhood have been facing legal proceedings over the possession of the land they have occupied for years, which is claimed by a private individual.
There is uncertainty about this, but the Director of Commercial Regulation came to listen to the merchants and find a solution to the conflict.
