Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on additional financing for low-cost air tickets for residents of the Far Eastern Federal District (FFO). Document published on the government website.
It was decided to allocate five billion rubles for these purposes. It is noted that residents of the district will be able to buy subsidized tickets on more than 20 popular routes from the cities of the Far East to Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Reduced fares will be available to all categories of passengers. Earlier, 5.8 billion rubles were already allocated for tickets for privileged categories of the population (pensioners, disabled people, large families and citizens under 23 years old).
“It is assumed that thanks to the decision taken, at least 450 thousand people will be able to save on air travel,” the government concluded.
We will remind, last year Mishustin signed a decree to expand the list of subsidized flights. The list of domestic flights was increased by 138 routes.
