Emirates Transport has started activating a smart internal system for managing toll gate payments, “Tollgate System”, on all its fleet vehicles registered in the Salik toll system in Dubai, which will bring a number of operational and financial advantages and benefits.
Hanan Saqr, Executive Director of Fleet Management at Emirates Transport, said: The company has begun to reap the fruits of the intensive efforts it has made in recent years to enhance and complete the plans for digital and smart transformation at all service and operational levels, as part of its continuous efforts to develop business and improve performance in general, in line with the government’s directions in the country and in a manner that enhances the leading positions and competitive capabilities of the company. And it is easy to achieve its strategic goals, as this internal system is the latest of those fruits in the field of fleet management, and is added to a group of smart systems that have been launched recently.
Saqr added that the system is dedicated to managing the accounts of payments resulting from the vehicles and mechanisms belonging to the company, while passing through one of the gates of the traffic tariff systems in the country, as it includes at the current stage all vehicles registered in the traffic system of the Emirate of Dubai, provided that work is completed on the introduction of the system Darb for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, pointing out that the system allows the introduction of any other system that may be applied in the future in the emirates of the country.
Saqr stressed that the system is very easy, as all operations and procedures are managed in a smart and automated manner, and therefore it saves effort and time, and can be accessed at any time from any device in the company, in addition to providing the company’s billing accountants with accurate statements, and provides a picture It is clear about the item of expenses related to the expenses of the toll gates.
