Spider-Man: across the Spider-Verse (Part one), the sequel to the award-winning animated film Spider-Man: into the Spider-Verse, recently released his first official look and confirmed that we will see again Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), Spider-Woman Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) and Spider-man 2099 (Oscar Isaac).
In the video released by Marvel and Sony, we see Spider-Man Miles Morales traveling through the multiverse – a concept to be seen soon in Spider-Man: no way home – as well as other details inside his room.
Similarly, the new images reveal possible clues about the appearance of the versions of Spider-Man from the comics that will appear in the new Spider-Man animated film.

Spider-Man: India in Across the Spider-Verse
The first reference appears just 5 seconds into the trailer and it is something that may have gone unnoticed by many, since it can only be noticed if you play the video at the speed of 0.25 on YouTube.
“Meanwhile, in another universe …” appears at the beginning, but for a second a message appears in what appears to be Hindi.
The same thing happens again later on when Spider-Man 2099 – played by the next Moon Knight, Oscar Isaac – runs into Miles Morales. Some messages in the same language suggest that the characters are possibly in India.

Spider-Man: unlimited, the 1999 animated series
Not only images, but also sound is something that would have revealed the appearance of another version of Spider-Man in the 1999 animated series, Spider-Man: unlimited.
The moment in which Spider-Man 2099 – known as the Mexican Miguel O’Hara – takes Miles to take him to Earth 928, a music very similar to that of the intro of the animation of the 90s is heard.

It should be noted that it has also been rumored that other Spider-Man from the Disney animated series could have an appearance in this film.
Power Rangers and Transformers?
Miles Morales’s room, when Spider-Woman Gwen Stacy arrives to visit him, also has some nods to other well-known franchises.
The first is about the Transformers saga (which was recently filmed in Cusco, Peru). On Miles’s table next to his bed, you can see an action figure of something that looks a lot like an autobot or decepticon.
Then, on the book shelf near her window, you can also see other dolls whose colors resemble those used by the Power Rangers.
