The 30-year-old personal trainer, alongside the Olympian from September 2020 to March 2021, was accused of complicity in the crimes of “abusive practice of the medical profession” and of “cheating the state” of a biologist
The Milan prosecutor’s office had asked for his acquittal in December. Today the judge of the Court of the Lombard capital Domenico Santoro acquitted him. Giacomo Brushini, the 30-year-old nutritionist from Brescia from Desenzano del Garda who collaborated with Marcell Jacobs from September 2020 to March 2021, was acquitted of the accusations of participation in the crimes of “abusive exercise of the medical profession” and “fraud against the State” contested to a biologist, Antonio Armiento, who until January 2021 worked in the center he managed. Armiento, involved in a larger investigation in May 2019 for a trafficking of cookbooks, in these hours has bargained 1 year, 11 months and 20 days also for having falsely claimed to be a doctor.
The Anglo-Saxon accusations
–
The acquittal of Sweepers, a former body builder who works as a personal trainer, somehow replies to the accusations made against Jacobs by some Anglo-Saxon press after winning the 100 and 4×100 Olympic titles. In particular, the London newspaper The Times on several occasions – most recently on 21 November with a two-page report – had expressed doubts about the blue’s frequentation. Doubts at this point send back to the sender.
