The accident started when the forks of a truck hit a tank.
900 liters of corrosive formic acid spilled on the floor of the Posti terminal at seven in the morning in Pirkkala. Five people were exposed to the acid, two of whom have been referred for further treatment.

Latsa says that the liquid substance has been collected in containers and the acid spilled on the asphalt has begun to be neutralized. According to him, the situation is starting to be in good shape and neutralization will continue.
According to Latsa, there was no danger to the environment.
