Tragedy to the Nurburgring, during a track day there was a mortal accident which cost the life of a driver driving one Mazda MX-5, due to the presence of oil on the track which caused a dozen pilots to lose control.
A real tragedy that took place in the starfruit triggered by the loss of liquid from one Porsche 911 GT3. In addition to the MX-5 were also involved in the accident two motorcycles and one Corvette C7.
Accident at the Nurburgring, what happened the dynamics
The fatal accident at the Nurburgring occurred on October 4, 2021 during a track day. The one who lost his life was a driver driving one Mazda MX-5 which has crashed control the tow truck who had come to the track to retrieve one Porche 911 GT3 broken down.
In fact, according to the dynamics reconstructed by the German media, everything starts from the Porsche stopped on the track due to an oil leak cooling and waiting for a tow truck that could retrieve it.
The oil leaking from the Porsche made the asphalt of the Nurburgring slippery, causing a lot of problems for the drivers who are occurred. The slippery track thus caused a rear-end collision, with the Mazda having the worst of it because it hit the rescue vehicle.
In the crash the car also took fire. The fire also affected others 10 vehicles (eight cars and two motorcycles): seven people were injured, two of them in serious condition.
Fatal accident at the Nurburgring
The fatal accident at the Nurburgring occurred at the sharp right-hand corner, the Bergwerk curve, approximately in the middle of the ring that precedes Kesselchen. The pilot who died in green hell was a frequent visitor to the Nordschleife and he lost his life just near where the terrible accident occurred in 1976 Niki Lauda.
