While video games have always been a big part of iPhone and iOS devices, it wasn’t until Apple’s latest generation that we’ve seen ports of console titles. A simple look at the Resident Evil 4 remake makes it clear that Apple wants to attract gamers to its platforms. Now, Ubisoft has confirmed when Assassin’s Creed: Mirage It will be available in the App Store.
Through a new statement, Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed: Mirage will be available in the App Store for the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad Air, as well as iPad Pro with an M1 chip onwards, next June 6, 2024. This is what was said about it:
“Players will be able to experience the full narrative action adventure of Assassin’s Creed Mirage on the go, exploring 9th century Baghdad as Basim, a young thief who transforms into a Master Assassin.
Developed by Ubisoft Sofia, the iPhone and iPad versions of the game offer the same experience as the console version. Additionally, the game controls have been adapted to the touch screens of the iPhone and iPad, providing an intuitive, comfortable and engaging gaming experience.
“Cross-progression and cross-save are also available through Ubisoft Connect, allowing players to transfer their progress across all available platforms.”
By using Ubicost Connect you can enjoy cross-play and cross-saves with consoles and PC. Likewise, the game has been restructured to work with the tactical screen, although it is also possible to connect a Bluetooth controller. Along with this, the statement confirms a delay for this version.
In September last year, Ubisoft noted that the iOS version of Assassin’s Creed: Mirage would be available in early 2024, but June is already the middle of the year. We only have to see if the French company’s work lives up to what we saw with the remake of Resident Evil 4 or not. Remember, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will arrive on iOS devices on June 6, 2024. On related topics, Assassin’s Creed Hexe It would be a horror game. Similarly, Assassin’s Creed Jade has been delayed until 2025.
Author’s Note:
Playing these types of experiences on an iPhone is no longer a dream, and is now a reality. It is a job that, similar to the Switch, will depend a lot on the team that makes the port. Although at the moment we have not seen bad results, this may happen in the future.
