Chihuahua, Chih.- Although Natanael Cano’s concert, held last Friday, received good opinions from attendees, one of the main complaints was the abusive price at which alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were offered at the venue.
For a can of beer, Indio, XX Lager or Tecate, the sellers charged 100 pesos, while in the supermarket, you can buy a “six pack” of Lager for around 102 pesos and one of Indio, in a bottle, for 90 pesos.
Other products that stood out for their high price were the one-liter prepared clamatos, without alcohol, which were offered between 150 and 180 pesos. The “blue waters” or “azulitos” had a similar price. While a 500 milliliter bottled water cost 60 pesos.
The charge to use the bathrooms also caused annoyance. Although portable toilets were installed free of charge in the baseball field area, those who occupied the bleacher areas had to use the stadium’s toilets, in which there were women who charged 10 pesos for permission to use them.
These costs were added to the ticket paid by each attendee, with a price that varied according to the area. La Diamante, the closest to the stage, had a price of 5,380 pesos; the Tumbada for 2,800 and the stands for 840 pesos.
Minors could enter specific areas accompanied by their parents for a cost ranging from 800 to 1,800 pesos plus taxes.
However, these delimited areas were not respected by many of the attendees who, as soon as the introductory video began to open the stage to “Nata”, they began to jump over the security fences, despite the presence of surveillance elements.
This moment was even captured when fans took videos of the singer’s entrance to the stage. Many others evaded security in a more discreet way and thus many of those who were in the stands or in areas for minors ended up in the center of the field.
The lack of control was also evidenced by the fans who went up to the stage to be close to Natanael, who even hit one of the guards who tried to remove the first spectator who jumped up to the stage. The upset singer even said he didn’t want that person there.
On at least four other occasions there were people who came up to the performer, one of the young people was not only able to hug him, he also sang part of a song with him, recorded a video and took a selfie.
In front of 7,500 people, the “king of the corridos tumbados” began his participation around 12:15 at night and, for three hours, he performed 48 songs, 20 of which were related to the apology of crime, which earned him a fine. of one million pesos by the municipal government, which already amounts to two million 244 thousand pesos in two sanctions.
It started with “El F” and said goodbye to the night with the track “Nataaoki”. He played practically all of his hits and there was no shortage of collaborations with artists such as Peso Pluma, Gabito Ballesteros and Oscar Maydon: “AMG”, “PRC” and “Madonna”, as well as several covers of Ariel Camacho, Joan Sebastian, Marco Antonio Solís and even Juan Gabriel and of course, the controversial ode to Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, “The Blue Horn.”
