In a statement on the occasion of the Arab Traffic Week, which the Arab traffic authorities celebrate during the period from 4 to 10 of this month under the slogan “Safe and Advanced Traffic”, she stressed the importance of developing work mechanisms to enhance traffic safety using the latest technologies that rely on artificial intelligence.
She explained that one of the reasons for the level of safety in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is the use of advanced technology, where the Safe City Center was launched, which is an advanced security information center based on harnessing artificial intelligence techniques and big data, to support levels of traffic safety management and security forecasts to address crime and recover from accidents. before and after it occurred.
She pointed to the development of the use of systems in the center, which analyze historical, real-time and instantaneous data in order to support analytical and future predictions and provide them to police sectors that contribute to achieving a higher level in reducing traffic accidents and supporting quality of life.
She stated that the safe city acts as an innovative sensor center through its association with the national early warning system and works to send warning messages to the public about risks and threats before and after their occurrence, thus giving individuals the ability to proactively analyze before events occur through a system of sensing, broadcasting and sending warnings to the public road users in the emirate.
