Abu Dhabi Maritime’s management of ferry transport operations falls within the framework of its goal to consolidate the position of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as a leading global maritime center through the development and establishment of easy regulations for customers, infrastructure development and the provision of world-class services. According to the new mission, Abu Dhabi Maritime, which operates under the supervision of the Department of Municipalities and Transport – Abu Dhabi, will integrate the marine ferry transportation operations of the Integrated Transport Center within the framework of its other responsibilities, and it will manage the operations of the two main marine ferry lines in the emirate and supervise their work, which is the marine transport service to Delma Island, which connects Delma Island and Jebel Dhanna Port in Al Dhafra region, and public marine transportation service to Al Aaliyah Island, which connects Al Aliyah and Saadiyat islands.
