“Abu Dhabi Judiciary” expands granting notary licenses to provide job opportunities for citizens

In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Judicial Department in Abu Dhabi, the Judicial Department has expanded in granting licenses to private notaries at law firms licensed to practice the profession of notary, as part of the efforts in support of the file of Emiratisation, strengthening the labor market with national cadres, and providing job opportunities for Emirati youth in the private sector.

Counselor Youssef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, said that the department has succeeded in launching initiatives that support the provision of real job opportunities in the private sector in accordance with its jurisdiction and legal authority, to work to increase the involvement of citizens in this vital sector, in line with the UAE Vision 2021, which Emiratisation is one of its main performance indicators, with the government focusing on training citizens in many areas to develop their life and career skills in order to supply the labor market with trained and qualified cadres.

He added that the Judicial Department attached great importance to the process of training and qualifying citizens, providing the necessary vocational guidance and guidance programs, providing direct technical support, training and development by enrolling them in specialized rehabilitation programs at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy, and encouraging them to join the private sector, by licensing 11 of the Private notaries to work for law firms licensed to practice the profession of notary public, during the year 2020, and work is currently underway to train and qualify 22 notaries who will begin their work before the end of this year 2021.

Counselor Youssef Al-Abri indicated that the efforts made to support the Emiratisation file come as a commitment to national and societal responsibility, and to achieve the government’s strategic vision to raise the rates of job localization, which focuses on four main axes, including creating job opportunities for citizens, vocational guidance and guidance, training and development, Encouraging citizens to join the private sector.
