His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Chairman of the Education and Human Resources Council, affirmed that the message of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, when receiving a delegation of teachers and workers in various educational sectors in the country on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day It is a beacon that illuminates teachers’ paths towards excellence and a roadmap for upgrading the educational system in the country.
His Highness sent a message of thanks and appreciation to all teachers, as part of the UAE’s celebration of World Teachers’ Day, which falls on the fifth of October each year, and said: “Today we celebrate all teachers who are in charge of various types of teaching and their specializations and at all age stages, and we extend our thanks and gratitude to them for their efforts. It is their time to give our children the best possible learning and development experience.”
His Highness added: “We are aware of the great responsibility placed on their shoulders and the great efforts they are making to educate our children, especially during and after the Covid pandemic. They played a key role in accelerating the pace of recovery and returning the educational sector to its previous era.”
His Highness stressed: “No nation can create a generation that is proud of its values and identity and loving its homeland without investing in the teacher, his role and his position. The teaching profession is the cornerstone of nation building and the main driver of the social and intellectual construction process for tomorrow’s youth.
His Highness also stressed that our wise leadership believes in the importance of education to sustain the development of the country in all fields, and the UAE celebrates this day as an expression of its pride and pride in the position of the teacher in society and his role in building the future, and that improving the quality of education outputs and the educational system as a whole starts with a dedicated and qualified educational cadre with its morals and skills. His Highness explained that the education sector in the UAE has witnessed a qualitative transformation over the past five decades and the country has made great strides in developing and improving its outputs, and we will continue to make more efforts to support and empower teachers to continue the development process.
His Highness added: “I invite every individual and institution on this good land to participate in the revival of World Teachers’ Day, by documenting a moment of gratitude and gratitude to those who gave us so much to build the human being in society. His Highness stressed the importance of the continued commitment of all those in the educational authorities and institutions in the country to continue working alongside and for the teacher, to provide a stimulating and possible environment that meets the state’s developmental, economic and social vision by raising the percentage of teachers among the national cadres.
His Highness called for the necessity of integrating efforts with society and individuals to present a competitive Emirati model in supporting the status of the education profession with its qualifications, expertise and operational systems, which would reflect positively on strengthening the educational system, achieving goals, and developing policies and legislation to build pioneering generations in all fields.
