H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Dr. Subramnyam Jay Shankar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly Republic of India. During the meeting, which was held in Dubai, they discussed the well-established historical relations between the UAE and India and ways to develop joint cooperation between them in all fields, including the economy, in addition to a number of issues of common interest. During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the depth of the historical relations between the UAE and the Republic of India, and the continuous keenness to strengthen them and develop joint cooperation in all fields, with the support and care of the leaderships of the two friendly countries. For his part, Dr. Subramnyam Jay Shankar praised the strength of the historical relations between the UAE and India and congratulated the country on its selection to host the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change “COP28” in 2023.
