H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received HE Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey.
During the meeting, they discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation and partnership between the UAE and the Republic of Turkey, and efforts to enhance them to achieve the common interests of the two countries and their peoples.
His Highness and the Turkish Foreign Minister also discussed a number of files of common interest, including food security and energy, and exchanged views on developments on the regional and international arenas.
His Highness congratulated His Excellency Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on the resumption of the agreement to export grain through the Black Sea to international markets.
He praised the great efforts made by Turkey to continue to implement this agreement, which it signed last July in Istanbul with the Russian Federation and Ukraine, with the participation of the United Nations.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, also received Bilawal Bhutto Zardar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them and expanding their horizons to serve the common interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples. The two sides also reviewed the region’s issues and developments at the regional and international levels, and exchanged views on them.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the visit of His Excellency Bilawal Bhutto Zardar, stressing the historical relations between the two friendly countries and the growth and development of joint cooperation at various levels.
For his part, His Excellency Bilawal Bhutto Zardar stressed the depth of the Emirati-Pakistani relations and the keenness of the two friendly countries and their leaderships to strengthen and develop them in all fields. The meeting was attended by HE Hanna Rabbani Khar, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and HE Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the Emirati-Lithuanian bilateral relations and ways to advance the prospects of joint cooperation between the two countries in all fields to achieve their mutual interests and benefit their peoples. The two sides’ discussions also dealt with a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the visit of His Excellency Gabrielius Landsbergis, stressing that the UAE and the Republic of Lithuania have distinguished and growing bilateral relations, and there is a common desire to strengthen and develop them at all levels.
For his part, His Excellency Gabrieleus Landsbergis stressed the depth of the Emirati-Lithuanian relations, and his country’s aspiration to develop frameworks of joint cooperation in various fields.
After the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and H.E. Gabrielius Landsbergis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, signed an extradition agreement between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Lithuania. The two sides also signed an agreement on the transfer of convicted persons between the two countries. His Highness and the Lithuanian Foreign Minister signed an agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters between the UAE and the Republic of Lithuania. The meeting was attended by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation.
Also, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, discussed, during his reception in Abu Dhabi, His Excellency Demke Mekonnen, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them and expand their horizons in various fields to serve the development goals of the two friendly countries.
His Highness and His Excellency Demki Mekonnen also discussed a number of files of common interest in addition to developments on the regional and international arenas.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the announcement of the peace agreement in Pretoria, South Africa, between the Tigray Liberation Front and the Ethiopian government, praising the efforts of the African Union and the Ethiopian government in reaching this agreement, which supports the aspirations of Ethiopia and its friendly people for stability, development and prosperity.
His Highness also expressed – during his meeting with His Excellency Demki Mekonnen – his pride in the distinguished Emirati-Ethiopian bilateral relations, and the keenness of the two friendly countries to strengthen and develop them to serve their mutual interests and benefit their peoples.
For his part, the Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the depth of the bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing his country’s keenness to enhance and develop prospects for joint cooperation with the UAE in all fields. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State.
