Abdullah bin Zayed and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Singapore discuss the comprehensive partnership between the two countries

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, discussed bilateral relations and the comprehensive partnership and the potential for its growth and development in a way that achieves the common interests of the two countries and their peoples.
During his meeting today with His Excellency Dr. Balakrishnan, as part of his working visit to Singapore, His Highness reviewed the paths of joint cooperation in several sectors, including economic, trade, investment, tourism, education, and all fields related to the development goals of the two countries.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his happiness at visiting the friendly Republic of Singapore, which has strong and growing relations with the UAE, full of great potential for development and prosperity at various levels.
His Highness pointed out that the comprehensive partnership between the two countries embodies the depth and solidity of this relationship, and the joint keenness to invest in all available opportunities to enhance it in a way that supports their endeavors to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development, expressing his wishes for Singapore and its people continued progress and prosperity.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, also discussed all regional and international issues of concern to the two countries, including the current situation in the Middle East region.
The two ministers reviewed the efforts of the international community to reach a sustainable ceasefire, protect the lives of all civilians, and enhance the humanitarian response to the needs of civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Commercial Affairs, and Jamal Abdullah Al Suwaidi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore.
