ABBA drummer Roger Palm dies aged 75
The drummer of the Swedish pop group ABBA, Roger Palm, has died at the age of 76. This was reported by Aftonbladet.
The musician passed away on Saturday, September 21. The cause of death of the popular band member was complications of Alzheimer’s disease. “He was a warm and humble person who always stood up for friends and family. He will be greatly missed and leaves behind a great void. We will all remember him with warm hearts,” the artist’s family said in a statement.
Roger Palm was born in 1949. He played in bands such as the Gimmicks, the Beatmakers and the Moonlighters, but is best known as the drummer for ABBA. His drumming can be heard on the band’s hits Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Take a Chance on Me and Thank You for the Music.
