The Abarth 595 range is renewed. The new offering of the Scorpio brand icon is declined in two models and two power versions: we are talking about Abarth 595, with 165 HP of maximum power, and Abarth 695, where the output reaches 180 HP. Overall they will be four levels of customizationall faithful to the brand’s DNA: for the Abarth 595 there are the “595 Turismo” pack, more style-oriented, and the “F595” pack, which accentuates its performance, while the Abarth 695 can be further customized with the refined “695 Turismo” pack or with the high-performance “695 Competizione” pack.
But let’s go in order, and let’s start with the 595 model, the input version to the Abarth range: the design of this model is characterized by 16 ″ alloy wheels, double chromed exhaust, front fog lights and mirror caps in body color. The interior moldings and door handles are in satin chrome, while the gray dashboard fascia perfectly matches the black fabric of the seats, as well as the cockpit upholstery, steering wheel and gear knob. The stainless steel pedals and the flat-bottomed steering wheel with viewfinder complete the sports equipment. An engine is hidden under the hood 165 HP 1.4 T-jet Euro 6D Final, equipped with the increased Garrett turbocharger with a geometric compression ratio of 9: 1, for a maximum achievable speed of 218 km / h. A manual gearbox is offered in combination, but a five-speed automatic gearbox with paddle on the steering wheel can also be selected on request.
Going up at the top of the rangeinstead, we find the 695 model. In this case, sportiness reaches even higher levels, as evidenced by the seats in Sabelt fabric, with a matt gray shell, the dedicated 17 ″ alloy wheels and the famous Record Monza exhaust system. The engine is a 1.4 T-jet that delivers 180 HP of power and a torque of 250 Nm, for a top speed of 225 km / h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h consumable in just 6.7 seconds. Finally, the Koni FSD shock absorbers on both axlesin addition to the powerful braking system that adopts red Brembo aluminum 4-piston calipers at the front and self-ventilated discs of 305 mm and 240 mm at the rear.
