Sooner or later the house of cards of the hype of Abandoned it had to collapse: not only that the app on PS5 does not work, but the development team has also disappeared from the radar Blue Box Game Studios. The latest update of the team led by Hasan Kahraman dates back to several hours ago, but beyond the usual excuses there is nothing to report.
The press blackout is truly deafening, considering the coverage by the trade press and the web as a whole. The title of the Dutch development team has reached almost unsustainable heights of hype based on conjectures and theories, with the undoubted complicity of the alleged involvement of a legendary game designer.
We allude to Hideo Kojima, who is unlikely to want to see their name associated with Abandoned between an app that doesn’t work on PS5 and the disappearance of the Blue Box Game Studios development team. Not that we had any doubts: none of the boasted ties between Kojima and Kahraman has ever really convinced us completely, especially with official denials.
It goes without saying that the use of the hashtag dedicated to the game went from celebration to pillory in a very short time. You can find below the most recent tweet, which, however, does not lack the most hopeful answers of some fans left to hold the torch of the hype. For the latter, it seems, the appointment is only postponed to tomorrow.
Quick update: we are still working on it. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

In fact, August 12 falls on the anniversary of the release of PT, original playable teaser of the now defunct project Silent Hills. The disappearance of the Dutch studio also extends to the output of his own Youtube channel, from which the videos related to a project have been removed that now finds himself having everything to prove again.
Of course, we will not fail to keep you updated when (and if) we have news about it. The reactions would all deserve a separate article, but before saying goodbye we would like to point out one in particular: if the app trailers had also been provided for the YouTube channel, why not start uploading them directly there?
