The photos released online in recent days have caused the videogame community to be discussed a lot, suggesting that it is Abandoned, title under development by Blue Box, but now the confirmation of the leak has arrived from one of the developers and it seems to be the game in question.
We can certainly say that we are still in a moment without much information regarding Abandoned. So much so that in the past few weeks a background image with a name was enough to drive the web crazy and begin to hypothesize that behind the development of the title there is Hideo Kojima in collaboration with the Blue Box. But right now, it seems there isn’t nothing true.
A little while ago, however, some photos were released on the net that, without any confirmation, suggest that it is the horror game. The twist came directly from the top of Blue Box: the head of the studio Hasan Kahraman replied via a Twitter post that the photos leaked online really come from Abandoned.
In fact, these are shots that have been stolen from your personal PSN account by Kahraman himself. The man confirmed that it was an older version of the game, prepared on the PS4 Pro, but that it looked very different at the time. Below you can see the tweets and photos in question.
@HasanEKahraman this are abandoned screenshots?

Below, however, confirmation from Hasan Kahraman, who explained the reason behind the unexpected postponement a few weeks ago:
Well, the 2019 version was a lot different back then. But it was to test the PS4’s max power. It was running on PS4 Pro with native 3840 x 2160 resolution targeting 60 FPS with 8k textures. It did work but the PS4 version wasn’t powerful enough to create a full game.

The 2019 version was very different then. However it was tested on a full power PS4. It was running on a PS4 Pro with native resolution at 3840×2160 and 60fps, with 8K textures. It worked fine, but the PS4 wasn’t powerful enough to make the whole game.
The first trailer of Abandoned it should arrive in the next days of August, together with the Realtime Experience App. That day we will have a clearer idea of what it will look like, although it must be admitted that the leaked screenshots add to the mystery of this game. We look forward to further updates
