Just as the speculative scene never stops giving birth to conjectures about Abandoned, in the same way we can not help but follow it with stubbornness: now a new image seems to link it to Silent Hills, the project of Hideo Kojima which never came to light after the demo of PT.
Let us briefly recall the context to those who have recently tuned in. Hideo Kojima is the talented director Guillermo Del Toro (The labyrinth of the faun) have joined forces for a new chapter of silent Hill (singular) with Norman Reedus, but when the agreements with Konami failed, only Reedus remained to participate in theother game designer project.
We know there is an app for Abandoned, which everyone now suspects to be Silent Hills by Kojima, in order to show new information in the upcoming month of August: the new image shown, specifically, it seems point towards PT. The demo, which stands for playable teaser, dates back to Gamescom 2014.
The conjecture have been wasted, and recently the game has also been linked to a hypothetical Metal Gear Solid 6 due to the alleged appearance of Big Boss. Whatever the truth is (and we may be far from it), in Joe Miller’s tweet below a comparison emerged between the latest image of the app and the “equivalent” of PT; confidently, Miller concluded “Yes, there we are!“

There is really something to squint (as always), but according to the many who replied to the tweet different “details” seem to match. The table is there, the proportions of the walls too and, with some little effort, even the door with the relative padlocks. In short, for so many fans of the Konami series, it was really easy put two and two together.
That said, as you may have guessed from our tones so far, we warmly invite you to take everything with a grain of salt. The wait for further details, in fact, will not be long yet, even if this has not prevented Hasan Kahraman of BlueBox Game Studios from showing up on video to say that he is not a figurehead for Kojima.
Either way, the guesswork will soon end – the app will receive new videos of Abandoned the August 10, when (hopefully) we’ll know enough for abandon petty speculation.
