A resident of Glasgow, Scotland, Catherine Gaston found a human heart in her new home and won the competition for the strangest finds. The woman received a sofa as a gift, writes the Daily Mail.
She found a jar in the kitchen with an aortic valve floating in formaldehyde. Gaston photographed the find of unknown origin and sent it to the competition of the furniture company ScS.
The firm, having looked at another 500 pictures of other contestants, awarded Catherine the victory and presented her with a sofa for 850 pounds sterling (about 86 thousand rubles).
Other finds included in the competition included two animal skulls from the “Witch Lure” kit, handcuffs hanging on the ceiling, a large alien toy from the movie of the same name, a bottle of arsenic, a bag with old coins, a resuscitation dummy, liturgical books, a doll without persons, notes from a psychiatric clinic and other items.
