Last Saturday afternoon, a woman who was walking along a La Manga beach found 23 kilos of hashish floating in the sea. The discovery occurred when the neighbor was walking along the shore of the Barco de Tabala beach, located at the height of El Zoco, at kilometer 4 of the town belonging to the municipality of San Javier. The woman observed a kind of bag floating near the shore and went into the water to remove it.
Upon observing the package, he verified that it was a life jacket, zipped and tied with ropes, since it contained something inside. Suspecting that it could be drugs, he notified the Local Police of the municipality.

The agents who came to the scene opened the vest and found that there were several packages inside and that each bale contained five hashish pills, with a total weight of 23 kilograms.
The drug was transferred to the headquarters of the Civil Guard of Cabo de Palos, the competent body for the processing of the corresponding diligence and for the assumption of the investigation.
